Information we handle

Depending on the features you use, CampPro may process an email address you submit for updates; account identifiers supplied through Sign in with Apple, including an email address; saved campgrounds and their coordinates; trips, campsite watches, packing information, camping setups, household details, preferences, and feedback; device and notification identifiers needed to deliver alerts; subscription entitlement information supplied by Apple; and limited service records used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot CampPro.

CampPro does not collect your live device location, track your movements, use advertising identifiers, follow you across other companies' apps or websites, or sell your personal information. Campground coordinates are places you save or select for planning, weather, and campground information; they are not a record of where you or your device are located.

How we use information

We use information to provide and synchronize CampPro, monitor supported campsite availability, deliver requested alerts, manage accounts and shared households, recognize subscription access, respond to support requests, maintain security, and improve reliability.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell your personal information. We disclose information only as needed to provide CampPro, including to providers that support account authentication, subscriptions, cloud hosting, notifications and email delivery, campground and weather information, customer support, and service security. These providers may process only the information needed for their role and are expected to protect it consistently with this policy and applicable law. Public campground and weather requests use the campground or coordinates being researched, not your live device location. If you join a CampPro household, information intended for that household is visible to its members. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect users, the service, or our rights.

Retention and deletion

Your CampPro account and planning data are retained while your account remains active so they can synchronize across your devices. Campsite availability history is automatically deleted after seven days. A launch or product-update email address is retained until you unsubscribe. Feedback is retained while it is needed to review, respond to, or act on it. Limited operational and security records are retained only as reasonably necessary to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the service or meet legal obligations.

You can permanently delete your CampPro account and its associated cloud account and planning data from within the app. Account deletion also removes active sessions and registered notification devices. If you belong to a shared household, household information that belongs to other members may remain available to them; a household owner must remove other members before deleting the owner account. Records may be retained when required by law, to complete a requested transaction, resolve a dispute, prevent fraud or abuse, or establish or defend legal claims. If you cannot access the app, contact us for assistance.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Children

CampPro is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can unsubscribe from update emails at any time, manage notification permissions in your device settings, adjust CampPro preferences in the app, leave a shared household where available, and request account deletion. Apple manages App Store purchases and subscription settings. You may contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you or request an appropriate correction or deletion, subject to applicable law.

United States and Canada

Mountain Roots Ventures, LLC is based in the United States. CampPro and its service providers may process and store information in the United States or other countries where they operate. Information processed outside Canada may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction and may be accessible to its courts, law-enforcement, or national-security authorities. We remain responsible for personal information under our control and require service providers to protect it appropriately. Canadian users may contact us to request access to or correction of their personal information or to ask questions about our privacy practices.

Changes

We may update this policy as CampPro evolves. We will post the revised policy here with a new effective date.
